I would like to thank Mr Johnstone, Mr Le Roux and their on-the-ground team for the construction of the speed bump and signage in Piet se Pad.
Unfortunately a tortoise had to pay the ultimate price while the bump was under construction, due to an irresponsible driver removing one of the barricade drums and driving on the verge. In future, hopefully, the number of crushed shells previously seen will be reduced
