Looking for something to do this weekend? Then the Nuy Valley Feast is just the event for you!

With three award-winning wineries and an olive estate playing host for this event, the Nuy Valley Feast, which will take place on 9 May, promises a fun-packed day for the entire family.

At Willow Creek Olive Estate the main event is the very popular Computer Mania MTB with its route winding through the vineyards and olive groves of the valley. Their award-winning extra virgin olive oils can be tasted and the Pure Boland Farmer’s Market will occupy bike riders and their supporters while they wait for the R100 000 worth of prizes to be handed out. To finish the day, they will host a Greek evening complete with Ouzo and plates to break.

Conradie Family Vineyards has become known for their bottomless sauvignon blanc and cabernet sauvignon. Live music, rugby on the big screen and a children’s paradise of activities will make for an entertaining day. Wine connoisseurs will have the opportunity to entertain their pallets with the new extended range from winemaker CP Conradie.

Nuy Wine Cellar has firmly established its reputation for award-winning muscadel as well as premium white and red wines. The Nuy Valley Feast will be the perfect occasion to experience the whole range and stock up for winter nights in front of the fire place. You can even blend your own wine to suit your unique taste. They will also make excellent personalised gifts.

Leipzig Country House and Winery hosts an exhilarating trial run into the foot of the Rabie mountain. Boutique beer and a German menu with live music in the Beer Garten will be perfect to replenish trial runners and feast goers alike. Leipzig’s distinguished range of wines will also be available for tasting in their cellar with its trademark murals.

Of the main attractions of the Nuy Valley Feast are the tractor and wagon rides with which feast goers can travel between the four venues. There is no better way to experience the Nuy Valley than on one of these tractors!
