Helderberg Hospice is hosting an Open Day on Wednesday 13 April at 21 Old Stellenbosch Road in Somerset West.
As restrictions and need for social distancing required during the Covid-19 pandemic are being phased out, the Helderberg community is warmly invited to visit and get to know the organisation and all its role-players better.
There are so many misconceptions about what Hospice does, and this would be the ideal opportunity to learn about an amazing support service in the heart of the Helderberg, set in the surrounds of a tranquil garden.
Guided tours will be held as part of the informative event and takes place at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. The tours will include a look at one of the wards, a talk with specialist palliative care registered nurses and social workers, an introduction into the various areas of volunteering, and a tour of the Garden of Remembrance.
