In the article “‘You’re our ambassadors’, Mayor tells EP workers” published in last week’s edition, based on a statement from the Swartland Municipality, it was incorrectly stated that the funding for the EPWP projects is provided for annually by the provincial government.
Funding is actually provided by the national government.
The EPWP team will be employed for eight months with contributions made by the municipality.
