In an attempt to inform local communities about the dangers of Covid-19, the Thompson Trust has been commissioned by the Theewaterskloof Municipality to start a campaign in Grabouw.
The Thompson Trust convey their message through loud hailers and street demonstrations on how to use masks and hand sanitizers.
According to Christelle Vosloo, Executive Mayor of Theewaterskloof Municipality, the company uses a bus and a trailer equipped with huge sound systems on the trailer. This bus then move from one community to the next to inform residents on how to protect themselves from infection. “Thompson Trust was exceptionally successful in Bergrivier and we received excellent feedback about them from that municipality and its Mayo,” says Vosloo.
The Thompson Trust start their campaign in Grabouw on Saturday 16 May and will then move from town to town in the Theewaterskloof Municipal area.
